All-on-4 & All-on-6 Dental Implants

A Permanent Full-Mouth Restoration with Fewer Implants

If you’re missing multiple teeth or an entire arch, All-on-4® and All-on-6 dental implants provide a secure, long-lasting, and natural-looking solution. Unlike traditional dentures, these implant-supported restorations are permanently fixed in place, restoring your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

At Allen & Washington, we specialize in advanced full-mouth dental implant solutions, using state-of-the-art technology to provide high-quality, natural results that look and feel like real teeth.

What Are All-on-4 & All-on-6 Dental Implants?

Both All-on-4® and All-on-6 implants replace an entire upper or lower set of teeth using a minimal number of implants. Instead of placing an implant for each missing tooth, these techniques use four or six strategically placed implants to support a custom, full-arch prosthetic.

These implant-retained teeth provide a permanent alternative to dentures, giving you a beautiful, fully functional smile without adhesives or slipping.

The All-on-4 & All-on-6 Procedure

Step 1: Consultation & 3D Imaging

Our team will perform a comprehensive evaluation, including digital scans and CBCT imaging, to assess your bone health and determine the best approach for your implants.

Step 2: Implant Placement

During the procedure, four or six titanium implants are placed in the jawbone. For All-on-4, two implants are inserted at an angle to maximize bone support, reducing the need for bone grafting.

Step 3: Temporary Restoration

In most cases, a temporary set of teeth is attached the same day, allowing you to leave our office with a full smile while your implants heal.

Step 4: Healing & Final Prosthetic

Over the next few months, the implants fuse with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. Once healed, a custom, permanent prosthetic is securely placed, providing a fully restored, natural-looking smile.

How Do All-on-4 & All-on-6 Implants Work?

These full-mouth implant solutions provide exceptional stability and durability by integrating directly with the jawbone.

Unlike traditional dentures, All-on-4® and All-on-6 implants stay firmly in place, eliminating shifting, discomfort, and dietary restrictions.

FAQ's: 10 Commonly Asked Questions

The main difference is the number of implants used. All-on-6 implants provide extra stability and may be recommended for patients with higher bite force or additional bone support.

The surgery itself typically takes a few hours per arch, and many patients leave the same day with temporary teeth. The final prosthetic is placed after 3-6 months of healing.

Most people with missing teeth or failing dentures are good candidates. If bone loss is present, additional procedures like bone grafting may be needed.

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The prosthetic teeth may need replacement after 10-15 years due to normal wear.

Yes! They offer a permanent, stable solution with no slipping, no adhesives, and better chewing power, making them superior to traditional dentures.

We use local anesthesia and sedation options to ensure a pain-free experience. Most patients report minimal discomfort afterward.

Maintain good oral hygiene by brushing, flossing, and visiting us for regular checkups to ensure long-term success.

Soft foods are recommended for the first few weeks. Once healed, you can enjoy a full range of foods without restrictions.

Absolutely! We custom-design your prosthetic to match the shape, color, and appearance of natural teeth.

Coverage varies, but we offer flexible financing options to help make treatment affordable.
